Stalker Thriller in "Broken Vows," starring Jaimie Alexander, Wes Bentley

BROKEN VOWS features today’s hottest upcoming stars with Blindspot’s Jaimie Alexander as Tara, together with Wes Bentley (Patrick), Alexandra Breckenridge (Debra), and Cam Gigandet as fiancé Michael.     

On her bachelorette-party weekend with friends in New Orleans, Tara falls for the darkly-sexy bartender Patrick.  Waking in his bed the next morning, Tara instantly regrets her unfaithfulness and flies back home to her fiancé.  Her secret flame becomes a full-on fire when Patrick shows up at her house, surreptitiously tries to cancel her wedding arrangements, and stalks her every move. 

He spirals into madness and delusion, determined to have Tara no matter what the cost.  When his efforts fail, he tracks the newlyweds on their honeymoon where he erupts in a psychotic, murderous rage.  Tara will have to find the strength she never knew she possessed to stop Patrick from destroying her marriage and her life.

    JAIMIE ALEXANDER – Tara




Actress Jaimie Alexander’s natural beauty is enough to make anyone do a double take, but after the release of her recent high-profile film projects, people acknowledge her talent as well as her stunning looks.  She appeared with Jake Gyllenhaal in Ed Zwick’s drama Love and Other Drugs, followed by  Marvel’s blockbuster epic Thor.  In it, she starred in the role of “Sif” opposite Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman and Sir Anthony Hopkins.  She reprised her role in the record-breaking sequel, The Dark World, and recently did so again in a guest turn on Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.  In a comedic departure, she appeared in HBO’s The Brink with Tim Robbins and Jack Black.  Next on the horizon is reprising her again as “Sif” in Thor: Ragnarok.  She currently stars as the lead of Greg Berlanti’s hit NBC series Blindspot which was selected by the Critics’ Choice Awards as “Most Exciting New Series.”

Alexander also attended the Toronto International Film Festival for the World premiere of the indie dramedy Loosies with Peter Facinelli and Joe Pantoliano; starred in the dramatic thriller Intermission with Frank Grillo which screened at Cannes; as well as the historical drama Savannah with Jim Caviezel, ChiwetelEjiofer, and Hal Holbrook, and also appeared as the female lead opposite Arnold Schwarzenegger in Lionsgate’s action/thriller The Last Stand.

She transitioned into such coveted film roles after her series regular status on the popular ABC Family Chanel series Kyle XY.  Her enigmatic character “Jessi XX” proved to be a critical part of Kyle’s past and future.  She returned to series television in a juicy arc as Edie Falco’s wild and immature sister-in-law on Showtime’s Nurse Jackie.

Born in Greenville, South Carolina, and raised in Grapevine, Texas, Alexander moved west to Los Angeles upon graduating high school.  She hasn’t looked back since.

     WES BENTLEY – Patrick




Wes Bentley was born in Jonesboro, Arkansas.

After graduating high school he attended Julliard School of Drama for one year and left to pursue his career. Shortly thereafter he landed a starring role in the Sam Mendes film American Beauty co-starring opposite Kevin Spacey, Annette Benning and Mena Suvari which went on to win five Academy Awards.

Since then he has gone on to work with esteemed directors such as Shekhar Kapur in Four Feathers opposite his good friend, the late Heath Ledger, Christopher Nolan in  
Interstellar for Paramount Pictures, which grossed $675M worldwide, and Terrence Malick in Knight of Cups.
                                                  
Past films include roles in Columbia Films Ghost Rider directed by Mark Steven Johnson and co-starring Nicholas Cage and Eve Mendes, which grossed $229M worldwide. He also plays Seneca Crane in the 2012 mega-hit The Hunger Games, directed by Gary Ross.

He also starred in The Better Angels with Diane Kruger and Jason Clarke, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival, Welcome to Me, an indie comedy with Kristen Wiig, We Are Your Friends co-starring Zac Efron for Warner Bros, and Amnesiac co-starring Kate Bosworth and directed by Michael Polish.
                                                                             
Currently Bentley is co-starring in Ryan Murphy’s American Horror Story: Hotel for FX which premiered in October 2015.  He also recently starred in Pete’s Dragon for Disney, which has grossed $116M to date.

Bentley lives in Los Angeles with his wife Jacqui and their two children.


ALEXANDRA BRECKENRIDGE – Debra



Alex Breckenridge was born on May 15 1982 in Darien, Connecticut before moving to California when she was 12. Breckenridge first got an interest in acting at 13 when she performed in local theater productions and soon moved to Los Angeles to pursue her acting career. Her first film was the independent comedy picture Locust Valley (1999). She followed up this performance with guest spots on several successful series, including Dawson's Creek, (1998) Freaks and Geeks (1999), and Buffy The Vampire Slayer (2002), and supporting roles in the films Big Fat Liar (2002), Orange County (2002) and the short film D.E.B.S. (2003), which won the award for Best Short at the 2003 New York Lesbian and Gay Film Festival. In 2005, Alex appeared in the ABC Family movie Romy and Michele: In the Beginning (2005) and took on the role of Michele Weinberger, played by Lisa Kudrow in the original 1997 film. She also began work on the animated sitcom Family Guy (1999), voicing celebrities such as Cybill Shepherd and Christina Aguilera.

In 2015, she starred in Zipper alongside Patrick Wilson, Lena Headey, and Ray Winstone. The film was acquired for distribution shortly after its premiere at The Sundance Film Festival. And in that same year, Breckenridge began playing Jessie Anderson in season five of the AMC series The Walking Dead.


CAM GIGANDET – Michael



Cam Gigandetwas born in Tacoma, Washington, the son of Kim and Jay Gigandet, a co-owner of The Rock pizza franchise After graduating from Auburn Senior High School in Auburn, Washington in 2001, he moved to California, where he attended Santa Monica College. His credits include a recurring role on The O.C. and appearances in feature films Twilight, starring Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattison which grossed $393M worldwide, Pandorum, Never Back Down, Burlesque, which grossed $89M worldwide, Easy A, starring Emma Stone which grossed $75M worldwide, and The Roommate,Priest, and currently in The Magnificent Seven.  He also stars in CT Channel’s CBS legal drama series Reckless.
