CinemaOne Originals Films in Cinematheque Centre Manila: Tickets at Php 100

This year’s annual Cinema One Originals Film Festival, with the partnership of the Film 
Development Council of the Philippines, makes its way to the Cinematheque Centre Manila with a slew of screenings from November 17th to the 22nd! 

Here is the schedule of screening today: November 17, 2016  - Thursday 

4 PM - MGA REBELDENG MAY KASO
Pelikula ni Raymond Red
Ticket:
Php 50 (opening film screening discount for STUDENTS)
Php 100 (for regular guests)

Based on true events surrounding the emergence of the underground alternative cinema movement of the 1980s. Just after the 1986 People Power revolution that toppled the Marcos dictatorship, a band of young filmmakers organize their own independent film & video festival and declare the legitimacy of the emerging "new wave" movement of alternative cinema.

6 PM - MANANG BIRING
Pelikula ni Carl Joseph Papa

A dark comedy-drama about a feisty, terminally old lady who has long accepted her imminent passing due to stage-4 breast cancer but then receives an unexpected letter from an estranged loved on announcing their return for Christmas.

Drug-dealing and sex-starved goons mistakenly disturb the peaceful lives of a frail witch and her nubile grandchild in a remote town in the mountains.
